About Ken

Ken trained as a computer systems engineer, and early in his career he designed silicon chips. That work demands precision, logic and attention to every detail, and the same engineering mindset has shaped everything he has built since.

With his wife Karen, Ken spent two decades building Universal Stars, one of Australia's leading seminar promotion companies. Together they ran more than 1,200 live events across seven countries, promoted 110 speakers and welcomed more than 500,000 attendees. Universal Stars was listed on the Business Review Weekly Fast 100 three years running.

A business of that scale meant wrestling with dozens of software tools that didn't talk to each other, rising subscription fees and support teams that blamed each other when things broke. So Ken went looking for a better system. He found HighLevel, learned it at a technical level, built and extended systems on it, and became a white-label reseller. Clientflow grew out of that work: the platform, delivered with the setup, support and implementation he knew businesses actually needed.

Ken has been building marketing systems for small businesses since 2015, across professional services, education, property services, health, specialist trades and advisory firms. Several of Clientflow's exclusive features came straight from problems he and Karen hit running their own events, including live event ticketing with mobile check-in, one-click webinar scheduling and automatic lead geolocation.

He is also co-founder of The Speakers Alchemy Network and co-author of the international best-seller Guest Speaker Success.
